I am from a family of photographers.
My father, brother and several nieces and nephews all work in photography.
I began my career working in the music industry photographing album and CD covers for Mushroom Records and Sony Music.
I have spent many years traveling and photographing in Latin America and especially Cuba, where I spent several years photographing daily life and religious practices.
l mostly live in Melbourne working on commercial photographic assignments, personal projects, teaching Photography at RMIT and mentoring younger photographers through the changing world of photography.
I have published several books for myself and my students and was a founding member of M.33, an independent organization dedicated to the representation and publication of Australian photography.
My work has appeared in Aperture Magazine, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and many local publications
